Hiring guide
A minimum viable hiring process
You don’t need a 12-step process. You need a repeatable one. Here’s the shortest hiring process that works, and how AROS supports each step.
1 · Write the role, in plain English
One paragraph about what this person will do. Two or three capabilities they must have. Two or three that would be nice. That’s the job description. AROS drafts this from your description and refines it with you.
2 · Source (or accept applicants)
Post the role, share the link, upload the résumés you already have. AROS organizes what comes in.
3 · Shortlist
AROS proposes categories — Strong fit, Worth a closer look, Worth a second look, Not a match — with reasoning attached, not a score. You review, adjust, and move candidates.
4 · Interview, on rails
AROS drafts role-specific questions and a scorecard. Every interviewer works from the same rubric. Notes attach to the candidate automatically.
5 · Decide, in writing
You (and only you) click hire, pass, or wait. AROS writes the Decision Packet — a short document capturing who, why, and what you based it on. Six months from now, you’ll thank yourself.
6 · Learn (30/60/90)
AROS invites 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins on your new hire. Over time you see which parts of your process actually predicted success. That’s the loop that’s missing from most ATS platforms.
